Middle School Do's



1. Concentrate on your work and not your friend’s.

2. Listen to your teacher when she tells you to do something.

3. Raise your hand when you need help or have a question.

4. If you have a question about something, ask it before it gets too late.

5. When you teachers teach you something, write it down so you don’t forget it.

6. Behave and work hard.

7. Eighth graders should set good examples for 6th and 7th graders.

8. Respect the staff.

9. Tell the truth.

10. Get involved in school activities.

11. Stay focused.

12. Be organized.

13. Do something creative, like sports, art.

14. Study to get better grades.

15. Don’t have an “attitude.”

16. Help others.

17. Get along with everyone even if you don’t like them.

18. Get to class on time and have what you need for the day with you.

19. Pay attention.

20. Do your homework.

21. Think before you act.

22. Bring paper, pencils, and at least two binders to school

23. Wear clean clothes.

24. Stay away from pot heads.

25. Be a leader, not a follower.

26. Stay safe.

27. Don’t talk with your mouth full.

28. Stay awake.

29. Look at school as a friend and not as an enemy.

30. Pick up trash around school.

31. Wear your uniform if it’s required.

32. Read books that relate to you; they may inspire or help you.
